The world’s fastest-growing sports brand is seeking a Product Manager, Performance Running who will strengthen the connection that On has with the running community. Driven by a creative and analytical approach, the new Product Manager Performance Running will contribute to the evolution of On’s Running footwear focusing on innovative concept development. Based in Zurich, yet frequently visiting our globally spread team and key retail partners, the role will ensure that products are relevant to consumers, to retailers, and to the company.

Your Mission

  • Be the voice of the consumer and market place in the product creation process
  • At the intersection of product design and development to co-create an industry-leading footwear collection, you are responsible working with your team to validate and input critical cross functional product data & consumer insights
  • Support the Product creation team in gathering all data and future trends insights to initiate the seasonal kick-off supported by design and Innovation (aligned with On’s message)
  • Work on the co-creation of clear and relevant briefs (meaningful product stories & concepts, range architecture, materials, colours)
  • Align with Development to track costing and utilise your organisation skills to stay on top of sample tracking and coordination
  • Ensure full alignment with the Go To Market (GTM) plan by partnering with our developers, Design, Sales & Marketing teams and participating to major presentations, milestones and launches
  • Increase our industry knowledge/trends by attending trade shows, retails stores, market visits and partner with our internal teams on consumer insights.
  • Connect closely with the global and local running community to ensure a customer-centric range.

Your story

  • 3+ years experience in product management or product marketing in a global sports brand environment (footwear) or proven record of how to bring innovative concepts to the market. Think consumer-centric and champion the consumer voice from the ideation, development, and launch phase, ensuring relevance and captivation
  • Passion for innovative footwear concepts, engagement in the running community and the willingness to pursue a career in product management.
  • Ambition to work in an environment that requires to be excellent in both analytics as well as creative and innovative thinking
  • Understanding of the global running market and its opportunities
  • Passion for challenging the status quo and reshaping the running industry
  • Familiarity with the top-level technical aspects of product development and manufacturing processes
  • Strength in managing projects, strong organisational skills & ability to manage complex projects whilst sticking to critical timelines and deadlines
  • Strong communication and team-working skills, dedicated to over-delivering (y)our promise and a sense of WOW. consumer-centric mindset.
  • Great network-building skills and ability to connect effectively with a diverse team of peers and stakeholders
  • A flexible mindset to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-vertical project environment
  • A higher education degree
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
