As the fastest growing global sportswear brand reaching millions of runners, On is leading the way in building an authentic community, with direct fan interaction at major sporting expos, run crews, cultural moments, own brand format events and retail grassroots activities. We are looking for a Global Head of Brand Activation and Events to strategically bring immersive and impactful brand activations and the events team to the next level. The person will play a leading role in crafting the brand activation strategy, enabling tools for scale, and developing innovative event formats and partnerships in our key markets around the world. On is a brand built around movement that celebrates the human spirit in everything we do and the Brand Activations team plays a key role in bringing our community together to celebrate our mission.

Your Mission

  • Set the strategic brand activation and events vision for On globally
  • Craft new immersive events formats to match global campaigns and initiatives in our Go-To-Market plan
  • Identify and Implement new tools and technology to elevate event experiences
  • Source and negotiate partnerships with relevant organizations to drive event success
  • Promote and celebrate the full range of On brand activations
  • Develop events brand standards and ensure that brand activations globally adhere those standards through all touch points
  • Analyze event data to test and learn
  • Enable markets to execute events within brand guidelines
  • Lead the development of communication framework considering pre, during and post event moments
  • Actively grow our global fan base
  • Build and lead a team of experts in brand activations and events

Your story

  • You've got at least 10 years' experience in organizing and leading events and have loved every minute of it
  • You've got at least 5 years of experience managing teams
  • A real expert in your field, you’ve worked in a creative agency environment (strategy, ideation, pitching ideas, execution; either external or in-house creative agency) with a creative mindset and solution-oriented way of thinking (for at least 5 years)
  • Calling you an expert in organizing different events formats (online, offline) doesn't even begin to do your knowledge and experience justice
  • You are data literate - meaning you possess the ability to understand, use and communicate data effectively
  • You have proven experience in implementing CRM strategies and managing customer lifecycle marketing programs
  • You can demonstrate success in managing agency partnerships and driving results through external collaborators Responsible, resilient and adaptable, you take pride in your ability to manage a wide range of projects while always delivering the WOW - a proven track record of organizing events on a global scale (please showcase a few in your application)
  • You are skilled at leading teams both directly and indirectly in a highly matrixed environment
  • You believe every problem is solvable, and let creativity mixed with pragmatism lead you to the solution
  • You're passionate about finding new ways to innovate, optimize and increase efficiency
  • Open minded, respectful and a great listener, you're a master at expressing yourself – both verbally and through the written word
  • A positive spirit, you guide, direct and inspire those around you. You see yourself as a partner to your teammates and want to help them achieve their true potential
