At On, the most exciting and fastest-growing global running shoe brand, we are looking for a new Business Analyst to join our Global Supply Chain team. You will be the link between business planning and supply chain execution, working across many areas of the business to provide our various teams with accurate, relevant, and timely data and information to support their decision making. This role is for a data driven talent with strong business acumen and a proven record of independently managing large amounts of qualitative and quantitative information into action-oriented insights.

The role is for someone with a can-do attitude and great attention to detail, who strives in a collaborative environment and continuously seeks to optimise our processes and challenges existing industry standards. Your Mission

  • Provide valuable data-driven insights and perform ad-hoc analysis to support day-to-day decision making within the supply chain team and beyond

  • Lead, execute strategic projects in the areas of sales and operations planning from requirements definition through deployment in line with overall business strategy

  • Maintain and monitor supply chain KPIs and perform root cause analysis to identify business challenges and opportunities

  • Collaborate with various stakeholders such as development, sales and finance to ensure deliverables/requirements are clearly defined, dependencies are well-known, and the risks/issues are understood and resolved

  • Prepare and present business cases and scenario analyses to support key stakeholders and senior leadership in decision making

Your story

  • A degree in an analytical subject, e.g. data science, engineering, economics, business, statistics, mathematics, or related fields

  • 1-2 years of work experience in a related field with a strong data-driven focus, such as Consulting or Investment Banking, or supply chain management

  • Proven analytical skills: Ability to structure ambiguous problems, manipulate and analyse data to solve them, and drive decision making in a concise manner

  • Excel skills are a must, programming skills (SQL) are a plus

  • Business acumen and entrepreneurial mindset: You possess a good understanding of the retail industry and flourish working cross-functionally in a fast paced environment
