In short

As an Indirect Procurement Specialist, you will be working cross functionally with different teams. From the Marketing team, to trade marketing as well as with our Finance department. You need to be very comfortable and skilled at sourcing across a broad scope of the business. You will be responsible for developing our marketing category procurement strategies and aligning our service sourcing to the business needs.

Your Mission

  • Develop and implement an efficient marketing sourcing strategy for On to meet existing and future business objectives

  • Establish and maintain effective partnerships with key internal stakeholders aimed at identifying, understanding and fulfilling their procurement requirements

  • Define cost saving opportunities, facilitate and lead sourcing projects and supplier negotiation and establish and develop supplier relationships

  • Procurement responsibility / sourcing portfolio covers all Physical and digital marketing services as well as trade marketing tools, ranging from sampling, to sourcing and logistics

  • Proactively collaborate with business partners to lead and manage RFx processes and contract negotiations; identify key benchmarks to measure and monitor contractual arrangements and supplier performances

  • Develop successful sourcing strategies in order to reduce the supply base, demonstrate spend and drive cost, quality and process improvements

  • Analyze plan, and improve our internal logistics channels used for marketing materials, identify buying channels and develop the needed processes to optimize our buying method

Your story

  • University degree in business administration, supply chain or similar required

  • 5+ years of sourcing experience, ideally in a wide range of indirect categories; a strong background in Marketing services and materials is required

  • Entrepreneurial, flexible and nimble, and are able to achieve a lot with limited resources

  • Exceptional interpersonal and negotiating skills, with a strong presence and ability to influence stakeholders across seniority

  • Self-directed and able to work independently, but you also work well along others in a fast paced environment

  • Proven project management and process improvement experience

  • Excellent market knowledge on supplier network within the marketing categories
