In short

Support the most exciting and fastest-growing global sports brand with their own retail store and wholesale doors. In this position, you will be among the first hires of the APAC Visual Merchandising Team. Therefore, we are looking for an experienced Visual Merchandiser with expertise in Visual Merchandising and Styling, to build and maintain our global VM Standard.

You will be responsible for helping to enhance our brand aesthetic and create a memorable customer shopping experience by executing and maintaining interior and window displays.

Your Mission

  • You will be responsible for the Direct to Consumer (DTC) Visual Merchandising across APAC, for instance, retail stores in China, Japan and Oceania in the future.

  • Apply VM Guideline and standardize VM execution of new store openings and existing stores. Including developing VM Tools, e.g. Mannequins, Hangers and Accessories display tools...etc.

  • Build efficient partnership with with Retail Design, contribute to building 360 consumer experience with clear retail zoning, campaign planning and story-telling tools positioning.

  • Collaborate with Campaign Designer, Trade Campaign Designer and Retail team on campaign planning, and provide VM insight to product launch to ensure the creative and display meet APAC business needs.

  • Partner with Creative VM in Zurich and leverage local resources to deliver seasonal VM training to retail team.

  • Explore and provide market insights to consistently featuring VM principles. Regularly research design inspiration in global culture, architecture, fashion, art, furniture and materials. Build and maintain an archive of visual and material inspirations.

Your story

  • University Graduate or above, preferably in Art and Design, Marketing or other relevant subjects.

  • Minimum 5 years proven work experience as Visual Merchandiser in premium brand. Ability to combine creative thinking with strategic planning and execution.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (in Mandarin & English), with local and global counterparts.

  • Proficiency in with all MAC / PC platforms, InDesign, Photoshop and PowerPoint.

  • Passion and interest in sustainability and circular business model initiatives.

  • Attention to detail, passion and interest in art, design and fashion.

  • Ability to be self-reliant and comfortable with decision-making.

  • Holistic thinking and store planning ability are preferred.
