An opportunity to become part of the world’s fastest growing sports company has just become available in Ho Chi Minh City office. Being the first In-line Compound Engineer in the Development Engineering team in Vietnam, you will lead in-line compound development with On T1 suppliers and manage raw material source of compounds to ensure production feasibility.

Your Mission

  • Manage compound offer for inline development.
  • Lead in-line compound development and validation with On manufacturing partners.
  • Ensure on-time implementation of new compounds and chemicals.
  • Evaluate raw material source (lead time, supply chain, quality and cost) of the existing and new compounds to ensure production feasibility.
  • Manage problem-solving for existing and new production-related to compounds and chemicals
  • Support quality team in manufacturing process audit to ensure the right compounds and chemicals are being used with the right process.
  • Support costing team in compound costing negotiation.
  • Manage new compound transfer from innovation team and ensure it is suitable for in-line projects, based on end-usage and/or aligned with company’s direction.

Your story

  • 5+ year’s experience in compound development. 
  • Strong experience with injection midsole and rubber compounds. Critical forming would be a strong plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel within Vietnam, to Indonesia and occasionally to Switzerland.
  • Fluent in English and Vietnamese, other languages such as Mandarin are a plus.
