Subscriber Growth Manager

As the subscriber growth manager you will be the one to define and develop different tactics to grow our data base all over the world. You will be responsible for newsletter sign-ups on site and off site, subscriber list management and maintaining a healthy and engaged subscriber base along the way of significant growth. You are a tech-savvy, creative and extremely data-driven lead generation expert that knows what’s needed to generate quality sign-ups that are loyal to our brand. Ideally you have been growing a DTC brand through subscriber growth tactics, know the legal requirements and worked closely with acquisition and product teams on growth tactics and mechanics throughout a variety of channels and regions. 

Your Team:

As you might expect from a running brand, the E-Commerce team at On is a fast-paced place to be. This team of interdisciplinary all-stars are used to rapid turnaround times and ambitious targets. From engineers to designers, data scientists and digital marketing specialists, this is the team responsible for creating winning digital products and campaigns that run the length of the purchase funnel. The shared goal? Efficient growth at high speed – what else?

Your Mission:

  • Outgrow On’s subscriber base and addressable audience beyond expectations

  • Implement Activation Strategy to convert Leads into 1st time Buyers

  • Create a pool of growth tactics and viral strategies (e.g. referral, prize draws, competition, limited edition sign ups), working closely with a variety of communication channels and cross functional teams to achieve subscriber growth and revenue targets

  • Work closely with the Merchandising & Optimization team to develop and test sign up methods, copy and images, placements and frequency to increase sign up ratio 

  • Develop regional growth strategies adhering to country specific compliancies and regulations through ownership of tools and budget position to strategically move efforts where opportunities sit

  • Engage Customer Experience and Customer Service strategically into subscriber growth tactics

  • Expand growth strategies into alternative channels when needed such as SMS and Webpush

  • Build and manage subscriber lists and interest groups working closely with the Email Campaigning and Customer Lifecycle teams

  • Ensure subscriber base health through initiating lapsed user campaign together with the Lifecycle Manager, identifying risks of churn and reactivation of customers

Your Story:

  • 5+ years of lead generation and new customer activation, ideally in DTC business

  • Proven experience with a variety of methods, tools and list management to grow subscribers organically and paid, on site and off site

  • You have an entrepreneurial and analytical mindset that contributes to the success of On and are comfortable to work in a fast-paced, high performance environment with multiple projects at one time

  • You have exceptional collaboration and relationship-building skills working effectively across functional teams with digital marketeers, growth teams, designers, engineers, data scientists and content editors

  • A strong understanding of the marketing technology ecosystem and a good grasp of what role each piece of technology plays

  • Salesforce CRM knowledge is considered a strong plus
